I met John Downer while I was on a short-term missions trip to Austria in the summer of 2000. He was one of the long-term missionaries there and we kept in touch. We married in May 2003 and welcomed our son, Brennan, in December 2007. We relocated to Richmond, Virginia, in March 2008, and have had a lot of fun exploring our new hometown. John currently works for Mondial USA as a Call Center Team Lead, and I do part-time HR recruiting for Summit Health Care and am home with Brennan the rest of the time.
